Eastern Catholic Picnics
In the heart of summer, where the sun shines bright, Gathered in fields, a joyous sight, Families unite, with laughter and cheer, At Eastern Catholic picnics, the time draws near.
Tables adorned with dishes divine,
Pirogi and holubtsi, so lovingly lined, Baba's secret recipes, passed down with care, Each bite a tradition, a memory to share.
Children at play, with smiles so wide,
Chasing the sun, with friends by their side, Lively games echo, the sound of delight, As the spirit of faith shines ever so bright.
